Roads and Intersections
SRM Associates has a comprehensive background in Roads and Intersection design. Our range of road and intersection service projects stem from a variety of partnerships to include both Regional and local Municipalities and also Provincial government. These projects range from reconstructing 2-lane rural roads, converting 2-lane rural roads to 2-lane urban roads, and widening collector and arterial roads to 5-lane urban cross-sections. Additionally, SRM Associates has a broad knowledge in designing new municipal roads through undeveloped lands, typically supported by a Municipal Class EA. In acknowledgment of rules and regulations, each project completed by SRM Associates is in accordance with TAC and Geometric Design guidelines.
Our Business Unit has completed several intersection improvement projects to include geometric design principles for site lines and safety requirements, planning for auxiliary lanes, coordinating traffic signal designs and utility relocation coordination.
