First Nations Consultation
An important aspect of any private or public sector project is consultation. SRM’s Environmental Assessment team has the knowledge and experience to provide advice to our clients on First Nation Consultation. Our approach to consultation is consistent with principles of respect for Aboriginal and First Nations peoples and current provincial guidelines recognizing First Nations as key stakeholders with Treaty and inherent aboriginal rights. On behalf of our clients, we develop effective and inclusive consultation processes including aboriginal participation to achieve resolutions that benefit the aboriginal people and the project.
