Land Acquisition Due Diligence
The Sernas Associates team provides expert engineering services required to assist clients in their diligence review for purchasing new land for development. We have extensive experience reviewing and assessing properties all over the Province of Ontario. Some of the key services in this first phase of development can be summarized as follows:
- Review servicing feasibility of sites for potential purchase by client.
- Prepare development cost analysis based on conceptual land use plans.
- Address any major servicing constraints or boundary conditions.
- Review environmental regulations and establish developable limits based on the location of environmental hazards such as flooding, wetlands and/or woodlands to determine net developable land.
