Electrical Drafter

Engineer, Transportation Structures

| Description: Reporting to the Sr. Project Engineer, this engineer will design all aspects of new construction and rehabilitation of transportation structures including bridges, culverts, and retaining walls. Additional responsibilities will include other project functions such as drawing layout, contract drawing review, quantity calculations, preparation of letters, reports, proposals, and tender documents, conducting site inspections of existing structures as well as those under construction, corresponding with sub-consultants and other agencies, etc.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, a minimum 5 years of related Canadian experience, and hold a P. Eng. designation from Professional Engineers Ontario. A working knowledge of the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code, applicable structure analysis software, familiarity with the MTO Structural Manual, Structure Inspection Manual, Structural Rehabilitation Manual, and Ontario Provincial Standard Specifications (OPSS) and Drawings (OPSD) is required. Restoration Project Coordinator

· Proficient with total station (and GPS RTK) setup, use and maintenance;

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Access, and field-related software packages;
· Ability to coordinate and work on multiple projects, while meeting deadlines;

Transportation Planning Technician

A good understanding of travel data collection and analysis techniques, travel forecasting methods, general knowledge of roadway geometrics, strong computer, analytical and problem solving skills. Water Resources Engineer
