Expert Testimony (Ontario Municipal Board Mediation and Hearings)
Our senior staff have represented both private sector and municipal clients at the OMB (and similar forums) for many years. Recently, mediation is being seen as a more effective means to settle matters before the OMB and we have been successful on many projects reaching mutually acceptable solutions for our clients. In addition to a wide range of development applications, Transtech has secured OMB approvals for truck haul routes for landfill and quarry operations. With the depth and breadth of our accumulated OMB experience, senior staff are able to have critical in-house reviews that strengthen our studies and subsequent opinion evidence at the OMB.
