Transtech - Corporate Profile

The Profile

Sernas Transtech
(a member of The Sernas Group Inc.) provides professional consulting services in transportation. Services offered range from preliminary advisory services, to site impact assessments, parking requirement studies and transportation planning reports as well as roadway and parking facility design. Preparation for, and expert testimony at the Ontario Municipal Board is also offered.

The company uses the latest analytical software for planning and operational analyses including micro-network traffic simulation. Techniques are regularly developed to suit individual project needs and our creative analytical approach provides insightful interpretation and innovative solutions to complex problems.

An important element is our “team approach” and we encourage all study team members to become involved with all aspects of our projects and studies; this empowers all staff to become part of the decision making progress. This project ‘immersion’ also ensures our clients receive the highest level of problem solving ability, client representation, and quality assurance.

Our planning assignments are frequently expanded into detailed design submissions and we regularly undertake and prepare roadway / intersection / roundabout designs, Class Environmental Assessments, Storm Water and Water Resource Management services, Urban Planning and Land Development services, electrical / telecommunications and utility design including illumination / signal system design, transportation systems structural design, noise abatement studies, environmental sciences, plus complete construction delivery services including tender, administration, and supervision.

The unique ability to incorporate and deliver a full suite of engineering consulting services provides us with a more complete project context and this sets us apart from many of our competitors in the transportation field. Our close involvement with Sernas’ other professional disciplines also enables us to provide our clients with a more comprehensive and creative solution from conception to construction.
